Very soon, in May 2019, a unique enterprise will appear on the Crimean peninsula. We are talking about integrated closed-cycle production, the main task of which is to grow shrimp in hatchery conditions.
Initially, experts from the USA and China volunteered to establish production. Investors spent about one billion rubles on the construction of an incubator complex and equipping production shops.
Note that the unique enterprise is located in the Saki district of the region and is the first and only of its kind throughout the Russian Federation. It is known that immediately shrimp fry will be grown in an incubator, and then released to “grow up” at a specially equipped aqua farm, which used to be used for breeding carps, but has undergone a reorganization. It is reported that project investors leased about 20 hectares of land located near the Black Sea coast and Lake Oybur (Saki district). In May, the hatchery complex will receive up to 18 million shrimp fry, which will continue their life journey at the Razdolnensky Raven water farm.
It is assumed that the process will not be limited to one aquafarm, and similar enterprises from different coastal corners of Russia will be connected to production. It is possible that young animals will be sold in other countries.
