In the village of Kontsov, Uzhgorod district, Transcarpathian region, the Nature Green (NG) mushroom farm officially opened, where shiitake and other exotic mushrooms are grown.
“NG finally opens its doors to business after two years of planning, building, developing and ensuring consistent crop quality,” the company said.
Located at the foot of the Carpathians, Nature Green uses fresh spring water and only organic ingredients to grow shiitake mushrooms.It is planned that the products will be delivered both to local and international markets.
Although the main product is shiitake mushroom, NG intends to produce other exotic mushrooms to meet the needs of customers.
Peter Sutherland, sales manager for Nature Green, says the company, which has a production capacity of over 200 tons per month of high-quality shiitake, has created many new jobs.
