On the territory of the Republic of Khakassia, the process of harvesting feed for cattle is in the active phase.
Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region note that the campaign involved agrarians of all regions of the republic and almost all available special equipment.
It is known that at this moment at least twenty-three thousand two hundred and sixty-one hectares have been mowed. Cleaning was completed on the territory of fifteen thousand nine hundred and fifty-one hectares.
Harvesters have already managed to stockpile nineteen thousand one hundred fifty-nine tons of hay. And the average yield in this case is equal to twelve centners per hectare.
The forerunners of the fodder campaign can be called the Agrarians of Bograd, who managed to cut over nine thousand two hundred hectares in a short time and harvest about eight and a half thousand tons of hay.
Farmers in the region note that they have not seen such a generous grass stand on the territory of the republic as this year. However, by no means all farmers of Khakassia manage to successfully cope with the forage harvesting process.
Indeed, in many areas of the region, the weather is raging, and heavy rains prevent local farmers from stepping over the mark of two thousand hectares. In addition, already mowed rolls do not have the ability to dry. Thus, long rains significantly slow down the pace of the campaign, especially the process of harvesting roughage.
