The area of garlic cultivation in Ukraine is expanding annually, new varieties are appearing. Domestic garlic has a short season, because it is present on the market from August to November. This is mainly due to the lack of good storage facilities in our country, ”the exporter says.

It was a difficult season for Ukrainian producers of garlic, because the size of the vegetable was small. However, some companies saw this as an opportunity, since small garlic is very well suited for industrial purposes.
It is worth noting that garlic grown in Europe is gaining more and more space in many European markets, as consumers are looking for an environmentally friendly alternative to Chinese garlic. In the United States, imports from China have been hit hard by higher import rates, driving domestic demand for garlic. Mexico and Peru are pleased with the results of the campaign.
