Last week was marked by a new incident at the border for trade relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
We are talking about the detention of a large consignment of meat and meat products, which followed from the Belarusian expanses to the Russian city of Pskov.
Cars with counterfeit goods were detained in the village of Dolossy: it was there that authorized employees of the Main Directorate of the Rosselkhoznadzor of the Leningrad Region, as well as employees of the department from the Pskov and St. Petersburg representative offices did not give green light to 20 chicken carcasses, as well as 15 kilograms of pork meat in frozen condition .
30 kilograms of pork fat also fell under the "hot hand". The reason for the ban on further transportation of cargo was the fact that poultry meat and bacon were transported from Belarus to the Leningrad Region without the necessary documentation, without quality certificates and veterinary compliance with the requirements of the Russian Federation.
Also, the meat was not accompanied by any identifying means that could confirm the origin of the product. But that's not all! It turned out that the transport on which the meat cargo was transported was not equipped for transporting food and was not adapted for the high-quality transportation of food products: there were no refrigeration units for chilled and frozen carcasses on board the trucks. And live poultry, which was also in trucks, was transported without feed and without water for drinking. Fortunately, they managed to stop dangerous exports, and goods of dubious quality went back to Belarus.
