On the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, the harvesting and green pea campaign have successfully completed.

Grown under a generous summer sun, fresh peas have already managed to become part of the legendary Krasnodar conservation and will soon go to markets - both external and internal.

It is noteworthy that this year Krasnodar farmers managed to harvest peas in the amount of over forty-six thousand tons. For clarity, it should be noted that a year earlier, in the summer of 2018, eleven thousand tons of products were collected by the forces of farmers in the same region.

Over the year, Krasnodar agricultural producers managed to increase the average yield of peas to forty-five centners per hectare. But a year ago, the average productivity of the region as a result of the harvesting campaign did not exceed thirty-three centners per hectare.

The peasants of the production of green peas in the Krasnodar Territory are rightfully considered the agrarians of the Timashevsky district, as well as representatives of agriculture and farming in the Pavlovsky and Kalininsky districts.

According to tradition, the lion's share of Krasnodar peas goes “under the roof” - in canned goods ready for use. It is known that in 2019, enterprises in the region that specialize in the processing of vegetables, fruits, and berries launched an average of over one hundred seventy-one million cans of canned peas.

In 2018, the productivity of similar conservation amounted to only seventy-one million conditional cans.
