According to analysts at ProAgro Group, in their September forecast, they increased their estimate of future soybean yields from 24 to 24.5 centners / ha., Which gave them reason to estimate the future soybean production at 3.87 million tons.
They explain this step by the improvement in the state of crops of late crops, and, in particular, soybeans due to favorable weather conditions in the second half of August this year. Also, due to the weather, sunflower production this year, according to the latest ProAgro forecast, will exceed last year's by 3.3% and amount to 14.7 million tons.
Note that according to official information, as of September 2, in the country, sunflower was harvested from 7% of the sown area with an average yield of 18.8 c / ha. against 19.5 q / ha. on the same date last year.
OilWorld analysts' estimates are even more optimistic - according to their latest forecasts, the sunflower crop will amount to 15.1 million tons.
