The reception ceremony for humanitarian aid from the Russian Federation, attended by Russian Consul General Yuri Bochkarev and an employee of the Pyongyang branch of the World Food Program international organization, took place last weekend at the port in Chongjin.

It should be noted that the damage to Korean wheat fields in 2018 was caused by massive natural disasters that attacked the country.
Konstantin Kosachev, who heads the commission of the Federation Council in matters of international relations, then noted that today the request of the Koreans was taken up by the competent departments of the Russian Federation.
The Consul General of the Russian Federation personally examined wheat and noted that Koreans will use Russian grain in the manufacture of cookies and nutritional mixtures that are intended for pregnant women and children.
Part of the Russian wheat was unloaded at the port of Cheongjin, the rest went to the city of Hynnam.
