The production of meat such as beef is actively growing in the Stavropol Territory.

It is known that from the first days of this year and to the moment, the region has produced over four thousand tons of products. For clarity, it should be added that this indicator is fifteen percent higher than the volume of production a year ago.

This information was shared with a wide audience by representatives of the press center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory. Also, the department emphasized that the pace of production was increased due to several favorable factors.

First of all, the growth was promoted by a significant increase in the number of cattle, especially among individuals that belong to elite meat breeds and their derivatives.

Secondly, the introduction of technologies, which at low costs can significantly save energy resources, has also influenced a lot. Also, farmers massively transferred cattle to long pastures, which also affected the growth of production.

It will not be superfluous to note that today there are seven pedigree factories and eight reproducers in the territory of the Stavropol Territory.

In stalls of these objects, such breeds of cows of the meat category prevail, such as Limousines, Herefords, Kalmyk and Aberdino-Angus.
