The process of providing material assistance to the victims will be implemented as soon as possible, said Alexander Osipov, as fires raged on the Transbaikal expanses at the most uncomfortable moment for farmers and livestock breeders.

According to the press service of the administration of the Trans-Baikal Territory, those farms that became victims of fires in April 2019 will be provided with financial assistance from the federal budget.

Recall that as a result of the April fires, enormous damage was done to residents and the infrastructure of seventeen settlements of the Trans-Baikal Territory. Flames swept more than a hundred residential buildings, 36 residents of the region were seriously injured, and four people were in a serious condition in a hospital bed.

Experts estimated the material damage from fires in the amount of one billion rubles.
