The state put foresters in the Vinnitsa region in a difficult situation, since it does not allocate funds for forestry.

Given this, state enterprises of forestry and hunting farms of the region have mastered beekeeping, fishing, harvesting herbs and growing agricultural products.

So, foresters of the state-owned enterprise “Kryzhopolsky Leskhoz” planted a raspberry plantation where they cultivate high-quality berries, which they subsequently sell. In addition to raspberries, chokeberry aronia is also cultivated here.

In 2019, local forestry workers planted rosehip seedlings without thorns on an area of ​​0.34 hectares. Planting material was grown from seeds here in the nursery. Within a few years, foresters will be able to harvest and sell valuable raw materials - rose hips.

When the plant reaches the age of 2-3 years, from it you can already get up to 2 buckets of fruit, and this is 6-7 kg. On the site, foresters planted 570 rosehip bushes. It will be easy to collect berries from them, because the variety is without thorns, says the master of the forest nursery Vitaliy Kamenchuk.

Foresters sell planting material of both ornamental species and seedlings of fruit and berry species for vaccination. One of the directions of growing rose hips is the sale of plants for grafting different varieties of roses.
