According to employees of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, today one of the department’s top priorities is to maintain its leadership status in the world grain export market.

Indeed, for many years it was Russia that has held the lead in the supply of wheat to external trading floors.

The deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Oksana Lut, assures that the main goal of the Russian farmers is not just to maintain leadership and again bypass the competition, but also to strengthen their export positions, thereby ensuring stable demand and income.

It will not be superfluous to note that today it is Russian wheat grain that is considered the main commodity in the entire diversity of the country's export potential. According to Oksana Lut, the quality of grain from Russian fields is known and highly appreciated all over the world and does not need too much presentation. Therefore, today we should focus on increasing production volumes and capacities in the grain sector of the Russian Federation.

It should also be emphasized that Russian exporters also make big bets on selling domestic fish and oil and fat products on foreign markets. The development of these manufacturing sectors will also be strengthened every year, authorities assure.
