We are talking about two outbreaks of the disease on the territory of private farms, which are located in two coastal villages - Poltava and Konstantinovka. The fact that local cows fell ill with brucellosis was confirmed by employees of the regional representative office of the state veterinary inspection.
As a result of confirmation of the diagnosis in the Oktyabrsky district, the quarantine regime was extended. In addition, active restrictive measures are being taken on the territory of the municipality to prevent the spread of insidious brucellosis in the region and beyond.Due to the quarantine regime, it is forbidden to export cow's milk and cattle from the Oktyabrsky district. It is forbidden to transport or drive farm animals through the territory of the quarantine zone.
It is forbidden to harvest hay, straw and other types of roughage during the period of the quarantine regime on farms in the contaminated area. The end of the quarantine regime will be announced later.
