Dairygold, an Irish dairy cooperative, has announced the opening of its new Co-Op Superstore in the New Inn Village of Tipperary.
Co-Op SuperStores is a retail division of the Dairygold Cooperative Society, which operates 35 stores throughout the Munster region. This step is part of a wider dairy group investment of € 11.5 million in expanding the retail chain.
According to representatives of the cooperative, the new store represents a more modern shopping experience with a significantly expanded assortment of goods, as well as with a new agricultural center for meetings and technical support for farms.“The new Co-Op supermarkets at New Inn usher in an exciting new chapter for our business. “We want to thank our regular customers for their patience during the work, and we hope to serve them and others throughout the northern region of Münster in the future,” said John Sugru, supermarket manager at New Inn Co-Op.
John O'Carroll, head of retail at Dairygold, said the opening of a new store is a landmark event for the group’s retail chain as it plans to invest further over the next 12 months.“As a result of common investments in the New Inn, a modern agro-industrial center was created that will serve as central points to serve the needs of our members and customers in the northern region of Münster for many years,” the head of the department added.
