The cheapest land can be found in the eastern and northern regions of the country, and the most expensive in the central and western regions.

In particular, in the Donetsk region, land costs 22 thousand UAH / ha, in Lugansk - 26 thousand UAH / ha. Moreover, in Ukraine, the average cost of shares is 36 thousand. Several factors influence the price of land.

The price of land changes in the direction of reduction if a large number of plots are already sold in the region. The more farmers harvest, the higher the value of land. Good infrastructure near the site increases its value. Urgent sale can significantly reduce the price per share.

In Lugansk and Donetsk regions, war can influence the price, the authors of the study write. At the same time, it is impossible to legally sell farmland (shares), in Ukraine there is a moratorium on the sale of land.
