Beekeepers from the village of Mirnoye, Gorokhovsky District, Volyn Region, report mass death of bees.

They suspect that the cause of their death may be the treatment of fields with pesticides. Olga Khaiba told about this on her Facebook page by posting a video.

In the video, a male voice-overs suggests that all the apiary bees suffered from local farmers who cultivated the fields with “chemistry”. In each bee colony there are many dead insects.

The beekeeper drew attention to the fact that red pollen is noticeable on the legs of dead bees. The beekeeper expresses indignation that the tenants did not warn the owners of the hives about the future processing of the fields with pesticides, because of which the latter lost the bees.

Earlier it was reported that in the Rivne region there is a pre-trial investigation under Art. 239 and 247 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the fact of the mass death of bees, which are conducted by investigators of the local police.

Honey insects died in Goshchansky, Koretsky and Rivne districts, whose beekeepers complained to the police. They report that private agricultural firms that process the fields with pesticides are guilty of the annual death of bee colonies and the deterioration of well-being of residents of the environs adjacent to the cultivated fields.
