On the territory of the educational colony for juvenile convicts, which is located in Tyumen, unique farming facilities have recently appeared. We are talking about two new greenhouses for growing crops.

According to the press service of the Tyumen Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, now there are eight greenhouses in the greenhouse complex on the basis of the colony. The bulk of the work in them is carried out by adolescents who spend time in a correctional institution established by the court.

Thus, one of the types of labor education of stumbled minor children is carried out. It is known that in their greenhouses, including in new ones, juvenile inmates of the colony grow vegetables that, when ripe, fall into the diet of adolescents themselves and their mates in misfortune.

It will not be superfluous to note that the founder of the greenhouse complex on the territory of the Tyumen colony is the Board of Trustees of the correctional institution, which provided active assistance to the pupils in the manufacture, equipment and installation of greenhouses.

It is noteworthy that the guys who are engaged in the cultivation of vegetables in colonial greenhouses not only supply the diet with vitamins, but also acquire useful farming skills.
