“We plan to start vaccination this month,” experts emphasize. “In order to be able to accurately record the localization of the distribution of baits with the preparation, our employees will use devices equipped with a GPS system.”

According to experts of the State Customs Service of the Nikolaev region, the minimum density of lures will be at least 20 doses per square kilometer. Throwing baits with a vaccine, experts intend to protect animals that eat the drug from rabies infection as much as possible.

“The bait is absolutely safe,” they assure the Main Directorate of State Consumer Services. “Moreover, not only for animals, but, just in case, for people.” According to the description of experts, the bait looks like a small briquette 5 cm long and 3 cm wide. The briquette is flavored with meat and bone meal, and in the core of the bait is a soluble capsule with rabies vaccine.
