Paraguay announced the signing of an agrochemical packaging agreement to meet the needs of small farms. The agreement was announced by the National Plant and Seed Quality and Health Service (SENAVE) in conjunction with the National Chamber of Agriculture Protection Industry (CINDA).
Both agencies said they are committed to providing small farmers access to agrochemicals in suitable containers and containers, as the local market does not currently offer small-scale products that meet the needs of this key segment.
They added that this type of product presentation will prevent improper handling of agrochemicals to avoid exposure and unnecessary risk to manufacturers.
An interagency collaboration agreement was signed this month by Rodrigo González Navarro (President of SENAVE) and Dr. Claudio елемngel Pusineri (President of CINDA).
Navarro emphasized that it was necessary to enable the national industry to provide agrochemicals for family farming, adding that products suitable for the safe destruction of pests were linked to seven government priorities, namely: tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, onions, sugarcane, banana and cassava .
Dr. Busineri emphasized his awareness of the inconvenience caused by the lack of viable alternatives for producers, adding that the agreement would benefit those living in rural areas, and therefore throughout the country.
