In Ukraine, honeysuckle is becoming increasingly popular in the hobby market. Information about this was shared by the director of the Brusvyana cattery Liliana Dmitrieva.

To grow honeysuckle on an industrial scale, the presence of certain varieties is required, as well as the technology of cultivation and collection, which would be specially developed in Ukraine.

As Liliana Dmitrieva says, the demand for honeysuckle is a matter of time. As soon as the consumer understands that the berry is worth attention, he votes for it with money. According to the entrepreneur, Brusvyana has been selling honeysuckle seedlings for several years.

She notes that interest in honeysuckle is not diminishing. And if earlier seedlings were bought mainly by citizens for a personal plot, now farmers are also making purchases.

As noted by Liliana Dmitrieva, honeysuckle seedlings are the leaders in sales in this segment in the New Line and Epicenter retail chains, where the company sells its products.

According to the entrepreneur, an active interest is observed in sea buckthorn. This culture is now in trend again, as evidenced by nursery sales experience. Sea buckthorn is not a berry for a fresh market, but for freezing.

Industries such as food processing and pharmaceuticals are increasing the demand for sea buckthorn every day. Moreover, this happens not only in Ukraine, but throughout the world, the specialist expresses confidence.
