Gardeners of the company "Pidgur’їvsk" from the Nikolaev region grow certified quality seedlings of fruit trees. There are many early-growing, high-yielding varieties, varieties for intensive orchards, which produce 50-60 tons of apples per hectare each year, without a rest period and 25-35 tons of plums from hectare with a sparse planting, the UHBDP press service reported.
There are growing seedlings of apple, pear, peach, plum, apricots, cherries, cherries for intensive gardening. These young trees belong to high-yielding varieties. A small seedling already has a set of qualities inherent in an adult plant: rapid growth, resistance to diseases and adverse conditions, yield, type and taste of fruits.
Seedlings were obtained from breeding virus-free planting material in Germany and Belgium.
It takes three years to get seedlings ready for laying a young garden. During the first year, the plant is in the mother liquor, another two years - in the nursery. During this time, the root system develops well, there is no damage to the branches and the stem, said Dmitry Bushilov, the head of Pidgur’їvske LLC.
The farm has 100 hectares of gardens. Of these, pome seeds (apple and pear) grow on 60 ha, and stone fruit crops grow on 40 ha. Young gardens yield crops already in 2-3 years after planting.
“We are the guarantor of the purity of the variety - 100% guarantee of cleanliness! Nowadays, this is a very important criterion for those who plan to lay a garden. In addition, our seedlings are healthy, this is confirmed by certificates from the Virology Laboratory of the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, ”said Viktor Bushilov, an agronomist.
