This stereotype has a certain basis for it - porridge from this grain crop is really very nutritious, and is a great start to the day. But oats are useful not only for their nutritional qualities - it turns out that with its help you can lose weight.
What is useful oats for weight loss
Due to its balanced composition, oats are excellent for dietary nutrition. Cereal normalizes the functioning of the digestive tract, helps to cleanse the body and lose extra pounds.

You need to use the product, following certain rules:
- oats should be regularly in your diet for at least 6–8 weeks;
- a decoction of ordinary consistency is drunk in a glass 30 minutes before a meal, a thick drink - 1/2 cup;
- during the day you need to drink 3-4 glasses of broth, you can drink more;
- the course takes place once every 4 months.
Nutritionists advise drinking decoctions and infusions of oats slowly, for 8-10 minutes, in small sips. Only such a remedy will give the effect of losing weight.
Ways to cook for weight loss
In order for the tool to have the expected effect (including therapeutic), it must be properly prepared. From cereals make decoctions, infusions, kvass, jelly. - Remove immediately after boiling, insist 30 minutes, after which the product is ready for use.
Drink 3 times a day, one glass, 1 hour before a meal. The course consists of four weeks of admission and two - a break. Then the therapy should be repeated.
Infusion
Oat infusion is a very popular means for losing weight, because of its effectiveness and ease of preparation. There are several recipes for making a drink, the simplest of them are two - in the usual way and in a thermos.
The first recipe:
- Place a container of water (300 ml) on the stove. Rinse in running water the same volume of cereal that needs to be added to the tank with water, after it boils.
- Remove the cookware with boiling composition from the fire, grind with a blender.
- Add 2 l of cold water, a stick of cinnamon and 1 tsp to the ground mass. honey, mix well and refrigerate.
- After 12 hours, the product should be filtered - and can be consumed.
The infusion is taken for 4 weeks, 3 times a day, 1 glass 30 minutes before meals.
Preparation of infusion in a thermos:

- Rinse the thermos with hot water, add chopped groats into it and pour 0.5 l of boiling water.
- Brew infusion for 3 hours, and then filter through cheesecloth. Drink in the same way as a drink prepared in the traditional way.

- Rinse a glass of cereal and pour 2 liters of warm boiled water, leave for 8 hours.

Types and features of diets
About the dietary properties of cereals have been known since ancient times. But they systematized this knowledge, and on their basis made up various diets, only in the second half of the 20th century. There are 2 main types of diets - a strict mono-diet, and a gentle form in which you can eat certain foods besides oats. Typically, mono-diets are designed for a fairly short period and tangible results (several kilograms in 3-5 days).
Important! Honey retains its beneficial properties only at temperatures not higher than +40 ... + 45°C. So, before adding it to jelly or any other remedy, cool the drink.
